Introduction

What is the Artikelvergleich module? Do you want to offer your customers the possibility to compare articles in an easy and uncomplicated way? Then this module is exactly what you have been looking for.

With this module, your customers will be able to make decisions more easily and view and compare the most important information.

Configuration

After installing the module, you can proceed with the configuration. For this purpose, the following fields must be observed.

  • Show in main navigation: Please note that if you want to configure it this way or remove it, you must always clear the content cache in the store and reload the browser, otherwise you will not see any change. You can completely clear the content cache in the store under > Version (top right) > Operations > Empty content cache completely (xy entries).
  • Artikelvergleichsdefinition: This option determines which feature definition is used for the item comparison group. That means, if you have defined feature definitions, you can select them here, they will be displayed in the comparison window.

Standardartikelfelder

Here you can select all fields to be displayed in the Artikelvergleich window. Depending on your needs, you can also define additional fields for specific items.

How to compare multiple items?

Below we show you step by step how to compare 2 or more items.

Select 2 items you want to compare and add them to the comparison list by pressing the “Compare” button.

Now you can press the Compare icon in the upper right corner to go to the comparison overview.

  1. Article category in comparison: Here you can apply the default settings in which it displays all articles in the comparison list. However, you can also filter here according to the characteristic definitions that you have previously created.
  2. Sorting: In the sorting drop-down list, you can sort by lowest price, highest price and popularity.
  3. Hide identical properties: Here you can enable or disable this feature.
  4. Share: When you click on the share icon, a link to share will be displayed. You can then copy this and share it on your social Media.
