Introduction

These instructions will tell you everything you need to know to configure and use the secupay Payments module.

To get started you need

Configuration of the module

We will now explain step by step how you can configure the module and customise it to your needs.

Step 1: Installation

Contact our support team so that the technicians can install the secupay Payments module for you. The module will then appear in the shop administration under Modules.

Step 2: Configuration

Where: ‘Shop administration’ → ‘Modules’ → ‘secupay Payments’

  1. tick the box for activation.
  2. enter the SpaceID.
  3. enter the UserID.
  4. enter the Secret.
  5. activate / deactivate the direct booking . Direct booking: A payment is debited and processed directly. Indirect booking: The payment is first reserved and must be confirmed manually in secuoffice.
  6. save.
  7. webhook, a green message appears.

Where can I get the IDs and the Secret?

You can find the data in your secuoffice. You will receive the access data directly from secupay.

Step 3: Assigning payment methods

Where: ‘Shop administration’ → ‘Settings’ → ‘General’ → ‘Payment methods’

In the ‘Electronic payment methods / Credit cards’ section, you can now select the desired payment method.

Tip: If you want a different payment method, you can click on the blue list symbol.

  1. tick the ‘Active’ column.
  2. select ‘secupay Payments’ in the handling.
  3. save the setting at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Delivery countries / Shipping

Where: ‘Shop administration’ → ‘Settings’ → ‘Delivery countries / Shipping’

  1. edit the desired country group
  2. in the ‘Accepted payment methods’ section, tick the box for ‘Credit card’
  3. save payment methods.

Step 5: Test payment

Where: ‘Customer page’

We now recommend that you make the payment using an electronic payment method. Then check whether the order is displayed correctly in the shop administration. And whether the payment has been debited from your account. It is also best to check in secuoffice whether the payment has been displayed and debited.
