Article Documents
Introduction
You can use the article documents module to upload and manage several PDFs per article. A new tab containing all downloads is automatically created in the customer’s article view.
Import via the administration
In the shop administration under ‘Articles’ you will find the ‘Article documents’ tab. Here you can see an overview of all items for which documents are stored.
- here you can see the selected article.
- the group is displayed on the customer side, see screenshot below
- the label is displayed on the customer side, see screenshot below
If you click on ‘Add new article document’, you can add a document for another article.
Select the article, define a label and a group and upload the document.
Import via Caller-Navigator
A CSV file is required for the import, which assigns the files to the articles. The CSV file must contain the following columns:
CSV example | |||
---|---|---|---|
Article no. | Group | Label | File |
1001 | Manual | Quick guide | quick_guide.pdf |
1002 | Manual | Wegbeschreibung | way_headquarters.pdf |
Files (downloads)
Linked files can be located on the file system of the shop server or on an external web server. An additional designation (label) can be optionally specified. Locally stored files must be located in the directory /shop/resources/downloads/ or any subdirectory thereof. The path information refers to this directory, so that only the file name needs to be specified for files located directly in it. You can find more information here: https://www.peppershop.com/peppershop_files/datenaustausch_api_merkmale.pdf
Import CSV file
In the shop administration under Import/Export - Caller Navigator you can upload the CSV file under set_article_documents.
