PostFinance Checkout
Introduction
PostFinance offers various e-payment solutions that are tailored to your needs. There are three different subscriptions that can be taken out directly with PostFinance.

Once you have chosen a subscription, you can test it free of charge directly on the website. A setup wizard guides you through the necessary steps. If you decide on this connection, you can conclude the contract with PostFinance directly online.
In addition, the module for the interface is installed in the PepperShop administration. The following instructions explain how to complete the configuration.

Module configuration
The module can be installed as follows: “Modules” → “Module administration” → “PostFinance Checkout”
On the right-hand side under Modules, the installed modules are listed. The Module: “PostFinance Checkout” is listed there; click on it.
Activate the module with the checkbox. You will find the remaining data in the PostFinance Checkout backend.
Configuration parameters

| SpaceID |
The SpaceID is used to link your shop to the correct wallee area. This tells the module in which wallee account or space payments should be processed. Without the correct SpaceID, no unique assignment between PepperShop and your wallee environment is possible. |
| UserID | The UserID identifies the application user in wallee through which the module connects to the wallee interface. |
| Secret | The Secret serves as the authentication key for communication between PepperShop and wallee. |
Backend PostFinance Checkout
Select your desired subscription and test it free of charge. The setup wizard will now guide you through the backend.
- Start the setup wizard: “Space” → “Setup wizard”.
- Integrations: Select “PepperShop”.
- Identification parameters window: The following parameters are now displayed: Space ID, User ID and an Authentication Key. Copy all of them and ideally note them down in a separate file. The Authentication Key is particularly important, as you will not be able to view it later.
- Complete the setup wizard: Follow the remaining steps.
- Activate webhook: Activate under “Space” → “Settings (bottom left)" → “Features” → “Connect”.
- Activate e-mail sending: Activate under “Space” → “Settings (bottom left)" → “Features” → “Customize” → “E-mail”.
Alternatively, you can also find the Space ID and the User ID as follows; however, we recommend working with the setup wizard:
You can find the SpaceID by clicking on the name under “Account” → “Spaces”. The Space ID is then displayed under the name. Transfer the SpaceID to the PepperShop module configuration. The “#” prefix of the SpaceID does not need to be transferred.
For the UserID and Secret, you must create an application user in the PostFinance Checkout backend under “Users”. You can enter PepperShop as the name, for example. After creation, you will receive the access details. You can enter the User ID in the PepperShop PostFinance Checkout module under UserID and the Authentication Key under Secret.
If you need this data later, you can find it as follows:
Finally, you must assign roles to the application user. Click on the “Assign roles” notification window or on Roles on the left. You can now click on the plus sign for Account Roles, Subaccount Roles and Space Roles and assign the role. The fields fill automatically. You can then save the roles.
After you have saved the roles, you can save the module in the PepperShop administration. The module establishes a connection to the PostFinance Checkout backend.
Activation of payment methods in PepperShop
In the PepperShop shop administration, go to “Settings” → “General settings” → “Payment methods”. Now activate the electronic payment methods / credit cards.
You can activate the desired payment methods and select PostFinance Checkout in the “Handling”.
Then save the page and go to “Settings” → “Delivery countries / Shipping”. Edit the desired delivery country here and tick the credit card payment method.
Now go to the PostFinance Checkout module under “Modules”. Link the payment methods with the correct processor from your PostFinance Checkout and save the settings.
It is then still necessary to correctly link the payment methods under “Modules” → “PostFinance Checkout”.
The configuration is now complete and the payment methods are displayed in your shop.
