PostFinance Checkout

Inhaltsverzeichnis

Introduction

PostFinance offers various e-payment solutions that are tailored to your needs. There are three different subscriptions that can be taken out directly from PostFinance.

You can find the various subscriptions via the following link. https://www.postfinance.ch/de/unternehmen/produkte/e-commerce/zahlungsloesungen-im-vergleich.html

When you have chosen the subscription you want, you can test it directly on the website for free. A setup wizard will guide you through the necessary steps. If you decide to go ahead, you confirm the contract with PostFinance directly online.

The module for the interface will then be installed in the PepperShop administration. The following instructions explain how to complete the configuration.

To be able to use the PostFinance Checkout interface, a PepperShop version 8.0 is required.

Configuration module

First install the “PostFinance Checkout” module in your shop administration under Modules -> Module administration. Then click on the newly-installed module which you will now find under Modules.

Backend PostFinance Checkout

Select your desired subscription and test it out for free. The setup wizard will now guide you through the backend.

  • You can also start the setup wizard via Space> Setup wizard .
  • Now select PepperShop in the Integrations step
  • You will now see a window with a Space ID, User ID and a Authentication Key . Make a copy of all of these and preferably write them down in a separate file. The Authentication Key is particularly important because you will not be able to see it later.
  • Complete the remaining steps of the setup wizard .
  • Activate the webhook under Space -> Features -> Connect -> Activate webhook.
  • Under Space -> Features -> customize-> Email -> you have to activate the sending of the mails.

We recommend working with the setup wizard, but alternatively you can find the space ID and the user ID as follows: You can find the SpaceID under Account-> Spaces -> click on the name. The Space ID is now displayed under the name. Transfer the SpaceID to the module configuration from PepperShop. The «#» does not have to be included.

For the UserID and Secret you have to create an application user in the PostFinance Checkout Backend under User->. For example, you can save PepperShop as a name. After creation, you will receive the access details. You can insert the user ID in PepperShop in the PostFinance Checkout module under UserID and the authentication key under Secret.

If you need this data afterwards, you can find it as follows:

Finally, you must assign roles to the application user. Click on the «Assign roles» message box or on the left on Roles. Now you can click on the plus sign for Account Roles, Subaccount Roles and Space Roles, and assign the role. The fields fill up automatically. You can then save the roles.

After you have saved the roles, you can save the module in the PepperShop Administration. The module establishes a connection to the PostFinance Checkout Backend.

Activation of payment methods in PepperShop

In PepperShop’s Shop Administration, switch to System Settings -> General Settings -> Payment Methods. Now activate the electronic payment methods / credit cards.

You can activate the desired payment methods and select them in the PostFinance Checkout handling.

Then save the page and switch to the system settings -> countries of delivery / shipping. Edit the desired delivery country here and tick the credit card payment method.

The means of payment are now displayed on your shop.

Installation

The PostFinance Checkout module can be downloaded from the download area of your PepperShop account. It consists of two directories that you have to copy into your installed PepperShop. To do this, first unpack the ZIP archive. It contains the following files, which are shown here with the target directories:

{shopdir}/shop/module/wallee/
{shopdir}/shop/Admin/module/wallee/
{shopdir}/vendor/wallee/
{shopdir}/shop/module/wallee_ecommerce/
