Pinterest-Shopping
Introduction
Sell your items as product pins on Pinterest. The online platform is used by millions of people worldwide who want to collect their interests and ideas on pinboards and share them with other users.
In order to use the module, you must have a Pinterest account as well as have your website verified by Pinterest.
Module structure
The module is based on a connector, which is also used for Facebook Shopping and for Google Shopping. With the module, you can have a CSV data feed generated of all the items you want to offer on Pinterest. Some setting options:
- Login (so that the data feed is “protected”).
- Show articles that are not in stock (if an article is not in stock, do not deliver it)
- Use promotion price (if a promotion price is available, deliver it)
There is a separate CSV file for each language. It is not possible to upload the CSV file to Pinterest in multiple languages. On social media platforms it is common to sell products in English. Or you use a separate account for each sales country, in which case you manage the respective language.
Prohibited content
The purchase or sale of the following products is prohibited on Pinterest:
- Alcohol
- Financial products such as loans, cryptocurrencies, etc.
- Products and services that are not suitable for minors
- Drugs and related products

Modul Configuration
The module in PepperShop is used as an interface between the shop and the Pinterest account. First create an account at: https://business.pinterest.com/de/
- You go directly to the entrepreneur profile of Pinterest.
- Then you go to the Business Hub, which can be found at Businesses.
- There you first have to have your domain verified
- After the verification you can link your catalogue
- Catalogue linking has strict rules: * The merchant must have easily visible and clearly understood return policies that make it clear if the merchant accepts returns and what the process and time frame is for returns, if any. * The trader must have easily visible and accurate customer service contact information. * The merchant must have easily visible and clearly understandable shipping policies that outline expected shipping times and costs.
