Domain Transfer
Introduction
You have already registered your domain with a provider. The following scenarios are explained here.
If you would now like to request a transfer code so that the domain can be moved to us or to another provider.
Or you need to register our name servers or enter the IP address for the subdomain.
Transfer code
To be able to transfer a domain to us, you need the transfer code (also called Auth-Code). You will receive this from your current registrar. In most cases, the domain must first be canceled, after which the transfer code will be sent to you. Otherwise, you can contact the provider’s support team, who can send you the code.
Nameserver
In order for the store domain to be accessible, the name servers of Glarotech GmbH must be stored with your domain. Log in to your provider and edit your domain. Enter the following under Nameserver:
- ns2.glaro.ch
- ns3.glaro.ch
- ns4.glaro.ch
It can then take between 1 and 24 hours for the switchover to be completed and the store to be accessible.
IP
If you would like to operate your store via a subdomain (store.xyz.ch), you must register a specific IP address with your provider. You will receive the IP address from our technician, after which you must contact your provider, who will then create the subdomain for your existing domain.
