Introduction

Wallee AG is a Payment Service Provider and offers card terminals that accept all common national and international payment methods at the card reader, including the popular PostCard in Switzerland. Selected wallee terminals can be directly integrated into the PepperShop POS cash register system.

Terminal Configuration

To connect the wallee terminal with PepperShop POS, you must make the following configuration.

First, install the “wallee” module in your shop administration under Modules → Module Management. Under Modules you will now find the installed module, click on it. Activate the module with the checkmark. You will find the remaining data in the backend of wallee AG.

Log in to the backend of wallee AG, you will receive the access data from wallee itself. You can find the SpaceID under Space → View Space (click on name). Transfer the SpaceID to the module configuration from PepperShop. The prefix of the SpaceID “#” does not need to be transferred.

For the UserID and Secret, you must create an application user in the wallee backend under Application Developer → Application Users. As a name, you can enter, for example, PepperShop POS. After creation, you will receive the access details. You can enter the User ID in the PepperShop Module Configuration under UserID and the Authentication Key under Secret.

Finally, you must also assign roles to the application user. Click on the notice window “Assign Roles” or on Roles on the left. Now you can click on the plus sign for Account Roles, Subaccount Roles and Space Roles and assign the role. The fields fill automatically. Then you can save the roles.

PepperShop POS

In the PepperShop Administration under Modules → Module Management → “wallee”, you should now have filled in all fields. Press Save.

Finally, you must also activate the hardware in the user interface in the cash register system. To do this, press the three lines at the top left → Settings.

Then you can select the wallee payment terminal from the dropdown list under Hardware.

You have now connected the wallee payment terminal to the PepperShop POS cash register system. Once you have received the device, you must now configure it. Please read the instructions for your selected payment terminal: https://wallee.com/de/terminal-welcome.html

Installation

The Walle Terminal module can be downloaded from the download area of your own PepperShop account after purchase. It consists of two directories that must be copied into your installed PepperShop. First, extract the ZIP archive. The following files are included, shown here with the target directories:
