Introduction

With the text input fields, your customers can enter additional information for the article.

Activate Text Input Fields

Go to Administration under Settings → General → Edit Article. Here you can change the number of text input fields.

The text input fields are then displayed in article editing.

Article Editing

In article editing, you will now find the desired number of text fields. Here you can enter a description before and after the content.

You also define the field length and the maximum length of characters. The field height defines how many lines the input field has. With the checkbox “Required field” you can set whether the field must be filled in. And with the type of check, you can choose between text, numbers, and email.

Example Stamp

Let’s now create a new article, a stamp, where customers can determine the text on the stamp themselves.

First, we go to Article → New Article, here we assign an article number, a name, and a price. Our stamp should have the possibility to stamp the name, address, and an email address.

On the customer side, the article now looks like this:

If we want to adjust the text “Additional Information”, we can do this in the shop administration. Under Settings → Languages → “Adjust all translated texts of the system”, here we search for “Additional Information” and adjust it.

This has now also been adjusted on the customer side:

The stamp can also be sold in the web cash register:
