Introduction

From PepperShop version 9, the scanner can be configured quickly and easily via QR code.

Previously, the output of the scanner depended on the keyboard layout of the computer. Thanks to the new connection of the scanner with the web cash register, the keyboard language no longer has any influence.

Configuration

In the configuration mask of the web cash register, you will find the additional columns for cash register position management.

If these are not visible, check whether the print output via receipt printer is selected.

With a click on Configure scanner, a pop-up opens:

Select your scanner from the drop-down list and set the volume for the beep. Then you can scan the QR code with the scanner.

If scanning the QR code on the screen doesn’t work, you can also download and print the QR code.

Your scanner is now configured and ready to use.
