Configure payment methods

Inhaltsverzeichnis

Introduction

With the PepperShop online shop, you have over 40 different payment methods available for your customers. Some payment methods are already preconfigured and only need to be activated. For electronic payment methods such as Mastercard, Visa, Twint etc., a contract with a payment service provider (PSP) is still required.

Standard payment methods

The following payment types are already pre-configured under “Settings” → “General” → “Payment types”:

Figure 1: Standard payment methods

  • Prepayment - You can enter your bank information here, which will be displayed to the customer after the order.
  • Invoice - Give your customers the option to pay for the order by invoice.
  • Direct debit - If you have customers from abroad or live in the EU, you can activate the checkbox “Allow IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code entry? If this is activated, the customer enters his bank data (in addition to the name of the account holder) via IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code. However, the entry of IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code is optional.
  • Cash on delivery - If a customer chooses the payment method cash on delivery, a flat rate for the resulting cash on delivery charges will be added to the invoice amount.

Credit checker

Credit checks can also be activated for the invoice payment method. This checks the financial reliability and solvency of private individuals or companies. PepperShop offers interfaces to the following credit checkers:

  • Creditreform
  • CRIF
  • intrum
  • Klarna
  • MF Group
  • swissbilling

PDF Print Module & Payment Slips Module

The PDF print module can be used to generate a delivery note and an invoice in PDF format for each order after the order has been completed. These documents contain all order-relevant data. The PDF invoice also lists VAT items in detail. (Adjustments to the layout of the two documents are not included in the module price, but can usually be implemented by us within a few hours). With the Payment Slips module, you have the option of encoding all payment data that is important for accounting in a QR-bill and thus being able to allocate payments securely.

Numerous options are available for electronic payment methods:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • PostFinance
  • Paypal
  • Klarna
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

  • And many more

You can find a list of all possible payment methods here:
