Introduction

This guide explains how you can sell an item.

Create cash register users

If you have not yet created a cash register user, you can do so now:

  1. To do this, navigate to “Web cash register” → “Cash register users / Login” in the shop administration.
  2. Here you can manage existing cash register users or create new ones.
  3. Click on the “Add new cash register user” button. A form will open in which you enter the following data:
  • First name: First name of the cash register user
  • Surname: Surname of the cash register user
  • User name: A unique user name for the cash register user
  • Password: A secure password for the cash register user
  1. Then click on “Save”

Logging in

Once you have created a cash register user, you can log in to the web cash register:

  1. Go to “Web cash register” → “Cash register users / Login”.
  2. Click on “Log in” next to the desired cash register user.

The following overview explains how to process a sale using the web cash register:

  1. Select item: Select an item in the cash register area. It will be added to the shopping cart automatically.
  2. Adjust quantity: Once an item is in the shopping cart, you can change the number (quantity) manually. This allows you to sell two or more items of the same product, for example.
  3. Change price: You can adjust the price of an item directly in the shopping cart – either up or down, depending on the situation.
  4. Grant discount: In the “Discount” field, you can enter a percentage or fixed discount for an item in the shopping cart. This will be automatically deducted from the price.
  5. Add free item: If you want to sell an item that is not yet in the system (e.g. a special item or tip), you can add a so-called “free item”. To do this, enter a name and the desired price manually.
  6. Further options under “More”: Additional functions are available via the “More” button.
  • Reset order (e.g. in the event of an error)
  • Redeem voucher
  • Resume interrupted purchases
  • Open cash drawer for change
  1. Complete payment process: To complete the purchase, select a payment method. The following options are available:
  • Cash
  • Credit or debit card
  • Invoice (for later payment by the customer)
